‘We are treated like royalty’ Romford Grange resident tells CQC inspection team

Romford Grange is thrilled to announce it has achieved a ‘Good’ rating in all five categories in its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

This recognition from the care industry regulator highlights the compassion and commitment of the team at the Romford home where great care is provided in a safe and well-managed environment for residents.

Feedback the home had received showed that residents and relatives were happy with how they were treated. One compliment stated, “Thank you so much for taking care of my family member and making them smile again.”

A resident at the home in Collier Row Lane told the CQC inspectors, “The staff treat you like royalty. It’s all about respect and that’s what you get.”

Staff respected people’s equality and diversity with resident’s care plans based upon their needs, their faith and their culture.

Home Manager Sue Aryan said, “The care at Romford Grange is second to none.  We work as a team to make sure we are providing good, person-centred care and feel like one big, happy family. We are delighted that this has been recognised by the CQC inspection team.”

The team at Romford Grange is dedicated to maintaining its high standards and continually improving the quality of care provided. The culture at the home was reported as person-centred, open, inclusive and empowering – regularly achieving good outcomes for the residents.

Romford Grange provides residential, respite, nursing and nursing dementia care to elderly people. The home has an excellent reputation and is a recognised part of the local community. Residents have regular outings to local places of interest as well as welcoming groups from around Romford into the home.
