Family members of residents also provided overwhelmingly positive feedback. One relative shared, “I am incredibly happy with the home and have no concerns. The staff are wonderful, and they provide excellent support to my mum.” This comment, along with others, highlighted the respectful and sensitive care provided, even for residents with specific needs, such as those with hearing impairments.
The report further acknowledged The Malthouse’s commitment to promoting independence and supporting informed choice for its residents. Residents are encouraged to exercise control over their routines and decisions, fostering a sense of autonomy and dignity.
