At Beaumont Park in Biggleswade we celebrated the Platinum Jubilee with a cream tea afternoon and lots of entertainment. The sun was shining and the residents were able to sit in the garden to watch the live music and enjoy themselves.

Dan Thomas played guitar and sang popular songs and John Wilkinson entertained us on his accordion. Both gave up their bank holiday to perform for free for our residents and we thank them for that.
We had lots of fun singing and dancing and residents, their families and staff enjoyed the strawberries and cream scones. It was lovely afternoon to mark a very special day – Happy Platinum Jubilee Ma’am – 70 years on the throne!
