Spotlight On: Sonia Goddard, Downham Market

Next in the ‘Spotlight On’ series is Sonia Goddard who is carer that works with the Downham Market team, who was interviewed by Team Leader Marilyn Hopwood:

Q1: What is your name and job title?

Sonia Goddard, I work as a care worker for the Downham Market team.

Q2: What is your job role at Manorcourt Homecare and when did you start working here?

I started working  for Manorcourt Homecare at the end of September, two years ago. I support clients in their own homes.

Q3: In the last three months, what have you enjoyed most about your job. Is there a specific example that has stood out?

I have enjoyed working and caring for the clients. I have also found caring for two clients with end of life care very rewarding.

Q4: What is your favourite part of your working day?

Being an ear to someone!

Q5: What is one thing your colleagues don’t know about you?

I love the Harry Potter films.

Q6: What is the most challenging part of your working day, how do you get through this?

The travel time and making sure that I am where I am supposed to be, when I should be.

Q6: Outside of work, what is your favourite thing to do?

I really enjoy spending time with my animals.
