New manager joins Home Close in Fulbourn

Residents and staff at Cambridgeshire care home, Home Close, are delighted to welcome new manager, Sujamole Mathai.

Sujamole Mathai, Home Manager at Home Close in Fulbourn

Suja, as she’s known to everyone, brings years of care experience to the role. Originally from India, Suja qualified as a nurse in 1992. She then became a neurological nurse specialist working up to become a ward sister. She moved into community care in 2010 and has worked in care homes in Cambridgeshire ever since.

Suja is keen to strengthen connections with the local community and to encourage anyone who may need care and support to get in touch.

She says, “Right from my hospital nursing days, I had heard about Home Close’s reputation and, it is exactly as I expected it to be. I have been made to feel so welcome by the team here.  My priority is firmly focused on ensuring our residents are well looked after.

“Home Close is situated right in the middle of the village and as such, I want everyone living in the area to know that we are here for them if they have care needs.”

Home Close is in Cow Lane, Fulbourn.  For more information on the range of services provided, call 01223 880233 or visit the home’s webpage
