Home Manager Joanna wins award for her motivational leadership

Congratulations to Joanna Jankowska who was named last night as the winner of the Motivational Leadership award at the Norfolk Care Awards 2022.

Joanna is Home Manager at Meadow House Care Home in Swaffham and took members of her team, as well as resident Vanda to the awards gala dinner with her.

The Norfolk Care Awards is a celebration of good practice in social care, recognising those services and individuals who go the extra mile.

Joanna said, “I’m incredibly proud for being nominated and winning such an amazing award. Thank you to Healthcare Homes for always believing in me, and giving me such a wonderful opportunity to manage a brilliant team at Meadow House, who work so hard for our lovely residents every day.

“I was lucky enough to spend the evening with some representatives from Meadow House staff, one of our residents, my family and representatives of the Healthcare Homes senior leadership team. Meadow House will always have a special place in my heart.”

Joanna’s nomination for the award from her colleagues said “Joanna is a model home manager who has found the balance of being a very well-respected manager whilst still creating a family feel amongst her team and residents. Joanna wants nothing but the best for her home and is an inspiration to those around her with her kindness, compassion and determination. She has worked for Healthcare Homes since 2005 in a variety of roles and has a special love for Meadow House.”

Joanna leads the team at Meadow House with a holistic approach focused on providing the best quality specialist care and experience for her residents many of whom are living with physical disabilities including Multiple Sclerosis.
