Work has begun for Healthcare Homes in Bloom 2023 and we are looking forward to seeing entries from our homes and branches in the next few weeks – bringing colour into the lives of those we care for and getting people out of doors for their health, motivation and enjoyment.
Plants have been grown from seed and lovingly watered, benches and garden furniture refurbished to allow everyone to sit our and enjoy the sunshine, planters sorted and garden projects begun. Take a look at the latest video which features just some of the projects which are taking place. And the video at the bottom of the page shows the launch video.
Healthcare Homes in Bloom was successfully introduced last year and we want to encourage even more homes and branches to take part in Healthcare Homes in Bloom 2023. Residents and clients can get involved with the care teams or local community groups, friends and families encouraged to take part and help out.
This year there are five categories for Healthcare Homes in Bloom
1 – Best hanging basket, pot or container
2 – Best overall display or garden
3 – Best cut flowers display
4 – Best for community/family involvement
5 – Best vegetable patch
We will be sure to keep you up to date with what progress is being made. In the meantime make the most of the sunny days and prepare to be blooming marvellous. For more information about our great activities see our website www.healthcarehomes.co.uk
