Congratulations to Uvedale Hall after CQC inspection

Congratulations go to the team at Uvedale Hall Residential Home in Needham Market, Suffolk, following a successful interim inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The inspection, which took place in January as part of CQC’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic praised good practice, including correct use of PPE, excellent standards of cleanliness and infection control and clear guidance for visitors to the home.

Residents and staff told the inspection team that there were enough staff to fully meet people’s needs and that, despite the current recruitment issues across the care sector, they currently had no workforce pressures and had been able to recruit when needed.

Uvedale Hall is an attractive Georgian building offering residential and respite care n Uvedale Hall is rated as Good overall by the CQC in all five categories – safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.
