Christmas Cake Contest at Barking Hall

The team at Barking Hall Nursing Home in Barking, near Needham Market, have been getting into the festive spirit with a Christmas Cake decorating contest.

Head Chef Glyn and his team made three iced Christmas cakes and provided three of the home’s residents with coloured marzipan to decorate them, while enjoying festive music.

Joan Brace, Pamela Cannon and Jean Watson really enjoyed getting creative, with some beautiful designs. After much deliberation, the winner was announced as Joan Brace, who won some lovely chocolates.

Well done everyone!
