Amazing Coronation artwork at Albany care home

These amazing photo frames were created and hand drawn by Liz Perry, one of the Activity Co-ordinators at Albany care home and led to lots of fun for the residents and staff celebrating the Coronation.

At Albany there was a buffet fit for royalty including the fantastic cake pictured below which was created in the kitchens by Head Chef Marek and tasted as good as it looked. Residents also enjoyed high tea and lots of chat about the Coronation and the new King Charles as well as chance to reminisce about the royal family of the past.

Albany is a busy home run by a close knit team in Headington, Oxford. Albany provides residential and dementia care and has a good reputation in the local area. The team work hard to ensure that all the residents in the 38 bed home lead full and happy lives.

The home is part of the Healthcare Homes family of 48 care homes across the south and east of the UK. Healthcare Homes is one of the UK’s  leading care providers, currently celebrating eight consecutive years as one of independent review site carehome.co.uk Top 20 Award winners.
