A special day for all the mothers at our care homes

Mothering Sunday saw a busy weekend of special events and activities taking place across our 48 homes including afternoon tea, Sunday roast dinners, flowers, chocolates and lot of enjoyable family visits.
Many homes had taken time to prepare for the event with activities including making cards and flowers for all the mums and mother figures to enjoy on the day itself. At Haughgate House in Woodbridge cards were made to include a chocolate and were presented along with a bunch of bright Spring daffodils. Chefs and their teams had been busy at all our homes preparing cakes and treats for Mothering Sunday.
Pictures shown here are from events at #Fornham House in Bury St Edmunds, Meadow House in #Swaffham and Romford Grange in #Romford. For more about daily life and activities in our homes see our website www.healthcarehomes.co.uk
