Activities Co-ordinator and care assistant Linda was unexpectedly serenaded by The Banjo Man to mark her 30 years’ service at Walcot Hall in Norfolk recently.
Human Resources Director Sam Dixon joined the team at the home in Walcot Green, Diss, for a celebration day with the residents and to present Linda with a certificate and gifts to mark her 30 years at the home. A special Thank You cake was also made in the Walcot Hall kitchens.




Home Manager Clare Pethick said, “Linda is so incredibly dedicated to our residents, always ensuring first class care is given and entertainment is provided that people enjoy taking part in.
“Linda supports her colleagues and is a true team player. She never fails to put a smile on the faces of our residents, she is not just a member of staff she is family and a friend to all.
“Linda was deeply moved that we all wanted to celebrate ‘her’.”
