Praise for Foxearth Lodge from the CQC inspectors

Foxearth Lodge in Saxstead, near Woodbridge, has been rated Good in the latest inspection from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The inspection, which took place in March, rated the Suffolk home Good in all five areas – safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. It is the first inspection since Foxearth Lodge joined the Healthcare Homes family in February, 2022.

The home was praised for treating residents with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. The staff team were seen to be cheerful, attentive and patient.

Home Manager Roxanne Cutajar was praised by the inspection as fantastically supportive of her team and the residents and relatives. She said, “We are all extremely happy that the CQC inspection team have recognised how hard working, caring and passionate our team are at Foxearth – recognising how the team’s main focus is providing great care and, above all, helping our residents to live their best life.”

Foxearth Lodge is a homely, sociable 65 room care home with a highly trained and compassionate team of staff offering the very best levels of nursing, residential, respite and specialist dementia care. The home is part of the Healthcare Homes family of 48 homes and 11 homecare branches.
