Service recognition awards for Healthcare Homes’ staff

At Healthcare Homes we like to celebrate when staff members have been working with us for a period of time – whether that’s 5 years, 10 years, 20 years or more. We are proud that many of our team members like to stay working for our company and want to recognise their service to us, to the people they care for and to the care industry.

This month nurse Mini Augusti (RGN) celebrated 20 years working at Ladymead care home in Swindon. Director of Estates and Property Services David Smith presented Mini with her certificate and gifts. He also presented laundry worker Seby Menzes with his 5-year recognition award.

Home Manager Byju Vasudevan said, “Mini has a very positive attitude, she gets on well with her colleagues, she communicates well with the residents and works very hard in everything she does here at Ladymead. Seby, who also takes Bank shifts in the kitchen,  is a very likeable person who is always willing to work where needed, the residents love him and like to have a conversation with him, which he always finds time for.”

At Sovereign Lodge in Eastbourne Home Manager Margaret Coscolluela received her 10- year service award presented by Marketing and Sales Director Martin Kirkup at a surprise gathering in her honour.

Margaret started as an RGN and worked her way up and now she could not be more proud to be manager at Sovereign Lodge.

Both homes are part of the Healthcare Homes family of 48 care homes and 11 home care branches. Both homes are rated rated Good by the Care Quality Commission
