Manorcourt Homecare carer in training for London Marathon

Carer Leanne Argent can be seen regularly training on the seafront as she prepares for the London Marathon in April.

Leanne, a carer with Manorcourt Homecare – Lowestoft Branch, is raising money for Papyrus. She already has £500 in the bank but is hoping for more.

Papyrus is the national charity for the prevention of young suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK and PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK.

Branch Manager Tamsin Warren said, “This cause is very special to Leanne and she is training hard – we want to support her in every way we can.”
