At Blandford Grange care home in Blandford Forum, Dorset, residents, relatives and staff have been taking part in a ‘Reverse Advent Calendar’ to benefit the local food bank.
This week the collection, which included mince pies and Christmas pudding, biscuits, crisps and other festive goodies, was packed up to deliver to Blandford Food Bank. The food bank will then distribute parcels of Christmas food to those who need it within the local community.
