Five carers from Hillcroft House care home in Stowmarket took to the skies to raise money for research into dementia, by doing a skydive..
Carers Julie Cosson, Charlotte Smith and Tracy Taylor were joined by senior carers Charlotte Lee and Natasha Dordoy to complete the jump at Beccles airfield. They have already raised more than £1.000 for Dementia UK.
Hillcroft House Home Manager Jan Heti said, “Dementia is something which is close to all of our hearts as Hillcroft House is a home which cares for people living with the condition.
“We are really proud of the girls, some of whom conquered their fear of heights doing this skydive.”
Charlotte Smith said, “I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely do it again, in fact all of us will be signing up again next year and Julie is already looking forward to doing her third jump.”
