Healthcare Homes residents and staff across our 48 homes and 11 home care branches joined with billions of people across the world in watching the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II on Monday. And at Barking Hall in Barking, Suffolk, the team welcomed in cameras from ITV to share the history-making day with them.
Residents had traditional scones with jam and cream and raised a glass to the new King as well as sharing memories of the Queen from their own lives.
Home Manager Susan Oates said the residents enjoyed the service and seeing the many members of the royal family as well as other world leaders.
