Cedar Court welcomes new manager Nicoleta

Cedar Court in Witney has welcomed new manager Nicoleta Ungureanu to lead the team at the popular Oxfordshire care home.

Nicoleta trained as a nurse in Romania before coming to this country seven years ago. Before joining the Healthcare Homes’ family she was manager of another care home in the area and is looking forward to welcoming local community groups into Cedar Court.

“It’s going to be a busy summer and there’s lots we want to do here at Cedar Court as we are able to open up and do more with our communities and our neighbours,” said Nicoleta.

“I am looking forward to having relatives and friends here and we started to welcome people over the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee weekend. We will be having a community open day here at Cedar Court once we have finished our programme of improvements.”

Cedar Court is part of the Healthcare Homes family of 48 homes and 11 homecare branches in the east and south of England. Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, Cedar Court provides nursing, dementia and respite care to older residents and also provides care via a specialist unit for younger people with disabilities

Cedar Court is rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission and has a 9.5 out of 10 rating on independent review site carehome.co.uk

“I have been made to feel very welcome here and am building up my team so that we can provide the best possible care and support to our residents and their families,” she added.

When not at work Nicoleta enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family.
