Drinks, laughs and memories made at The Gables

The Gables care home in Great Yarmouth was decked out in red, white and blue across the home and the gardens to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

There was a BBQ for the residents and their families along with a raffle and a jubilee badge-making activitiy.

Deputy Manager Chrissy Thompson said, “The residents had flags and hats. We had a sing song to all the resident’s favourites, and dancing, lots of music. Drinks, laughs and memories made with families given a keepsake family photo to take home.

“We now have a memory display in the home of the day.”

The Gables, in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, has a Care Quality Commission rating of Good and a 9.3 out of 10 score on independent review website carehome.co.uk
