A former resident at Barking Hall near Needham Market is undertaking a project to create a wonderful gift for someone in need.
June Codling stayed at the home for respite care last year, and whilst there she discovered her passion for arts and crafts. She then decided to make a sensory blanket to gift to someone living with dementia. She has deliberately chosen different patterns to knit from memory to give a different feel and various colours to her blanket squares.
June has since moved back home and is continuing with her project. She hopes to return to Barking Hall soon for a further respite stay and is grateful to the team who helped her feel more herself.
Thank you June and all at Barking Hall.
