Blandford Grange care home welcomes new Manager

Blandford Grange is proud to announce the appointment of Rachel Smith-Harrison as its new Home Manager. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Rachel brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to enhancing care services.

Rachel began her journey in healthcare as a nurse in 1997. Over the years, she has progressed through various roles, becoming a highly regarded leader in care home management. Since 2020, her focus has been on ensuring residents in nursing homes receive the highest standard of care, with an emphasis on creating supportive and fulfilling environments for both residents and staff.

Her approach aligns seamlessly with the high standards that Blandford Grange is known for, as reflected in the home’s “Good” rating by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). The care home is committed to providing a nurturing environment where residents feel valued and supported, and Rachel is eager to build on this foundation while introducing new initiatives to further enrich residents’ lives.

Speaking about her new role, Rachel shared: “I am thrilled to be joining Blandford Grange and the Healthcare Homes Group. I am passionate about ensuring that every resident receives the care, respect, and attention they deserve. I look forward to working closely with the team to continue delivering outstanding care.”

With her extensive experience and dedication to person-centred care, Rachel is poised to lead Blandford Grange into an exciting new chapter, ensuring the care home continues to be a place where residents and team thrive.
