Oaktree Care Home, in the heart of Yate, Bristol, had the pleasure of hosting the vibrant and talented choir, Go Vocal, not once, but twice over the past few weeks, bringing immense joy and a sense of community to its residents.

Impeccable vocals and huge surprises
During their first visit, the group, consisting of at least 40 members with impeccable vocals, delivered an unforgettable performance that left both residents and staff in awe. Among the audience was Terry Barton, one of Oaktree’s cherished residents, who is also a member of Go Vocal.
Unbeknownst to Terry, the choir had planned a special surprise for him. The look of sheer delight on his face when he discovered his fellow choir members waiting to perform was a moment of pure magic for everyone present.

Go Vocal
Two weeks later, Go Vocal generously returned to Oaktree Care Home for an encore performance, filling the halls once again with their uplifting and harmonious melodies. The residents eagerly anticipated their return and were not disappointed, as the choir delivered another extraordinary show, reinforcing the strong bond between Go Vocal and the Oaktree community.
The visits from Go Vocal bring joy to the residents and team at Oaktree Care Home. They have expressed their gratitude for the choir’s time and dedication and look forward to welcoming them back in the near future.
